DLC page for Bewitching Sinners. This contains mature dlc content for the game and you need to purchase the main game here or on Steam to properly play this DLC
TO INSTALL : simply extract the zip then copy the PATCH folder into the Bewitching Sinners Game folder, then run the game like usual. Clearer instructions inside the Installation Guide inside the zip file
The DLC adds new spicy content and modifies these listed events in the main Bewitching Sinners Game
- Ivar’s Second Meeting (When you meet Ylf)
- Thane’s third date (when he buys books about soul bond, only triggers if bonded)
- Thane’s fourth date (when you guys go lounge with cats, only triggers if bonded)
- Thane’s parting event (Talking with Thane after Palmier is awakened, only triggers if bonded)
- Quill’s first date (when you saw the Kelpie)
- Quill’s fourth date (the one where he told you he blew up his home)
- Quill’s engagement event (Only triggers if you don’t do Dietrich quest to kiss Quill)
- Arshem’s second date (the one where you had a picnic in Leynar)
- Arshem’s fourth date (the one where you met Echidna)
- Arshems’s fifth date (after he confesses to going to your world in a ring of statues, only triggers if you agreed to date him on his fourth date)
- Lyall asking you for a dance (in the main story before the jellyfish festival, only triggers If you have at least 20 points with him and didn’t crush Thomas, need to trigger his dance Cg by asking him to go to the dance with you)
- Lyall’s second date (the one where you had a cookout in Leynar and were confronted by Mr. Vynn)
- Lyall’s parting event (After you awakened Palmier. Only of you accept his love)
You can load an old save, but do note that it has to be BEFORE the event you want to see, as if you load a save that is AFTER or DURING the events listed then you won't see the new events. Example, if you want to see Ivar's second meeting, but load a save that is during that event then the old event code will trigger, if you load a save that is before that event or scroll back far enough before Ivar second event, then the new event will trigger.
This DLC is steam build compatible, so for those who bought Bewitching Sinners on Steam and bought the DLC here, simply copy the DLC PATCH folder into the game folder inside your steamapps by default it's usually in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\ steamapps\common\Bewitching Sinners\game
if you installed it in D or such, then look for your steam folder and head to steamapps, common then the Bewitching Sinners game folder.

bought the game a few days ago, now I finally have time playing it, but saw that it has this dlc too! can you directly buy it on steam as well? I read it's possible to buy the DLC here and combine it with the main game on steam but I still wanted to know! :)

yes it is, there is a 2 months check for that now and it also would change the rating of my ori game which I do not want as I want it still non r18 for those uncomfy with more racy stuff
The threshold for what they consider r18 stuff has also lowered to even just explicit talk but non action
all in all it is harder so I just avoid it for this kind of content

Hi there! I'm incredibly excited to play this game with the addition of this DLC! Thank you for creating so much content to go with the game.
I've been having some trouble installing the DLC and I was hoping I could ask for some help. I've read the guide that comes with the DLC and I tried following the instructions as written for Mac users, but I can't seem to find the mentioned "game" or "BewitchingSinners.app" folder. When I initially downloaded the base game from itchio and extracted the zip file, the only thing that was extracted was the game application itself and it didn't come with any other folders, so I'm confused as to where to drop the "patch" folder.
I realize that it's not easy to act as a troubleshooter for players especially as a solo game developer, so I'd really appreciate any kind of help you could lend! Thank you so much.
hi, sorry can you clarify to me if the game runs normally without the dlc then? despite only having the app and no aditional folders? If it does then it’s probably your settings that causing the folders to be hidden from view, and can be seen with command + shift + .

Thank you for the incredibly prompt response! The game was able to run normally without the DLC, so it was definitely a problem with my Mac hiding certain files. The keyboard shortcut of command + shift + period didn't work for me, but I was able to figure it out using some terminal commands.

I purchased the game today on steam & decided to buy this DLC as well.
DLC is unzipped and installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\ steamapps\common\Bewitching Sinners\game as instructed. looks identical to the screenshot in the provided instructions.
launching the game presents the error shown in attached image - what am I doing wrong?
rollback does nothing. bypass allows me to straight up restart the game from scratch. the "adds cursive to the title" tell is completely irrelevant as my "title screen" doesn't even have the original title (much less the cursive addition). only the start/load/art/setting/quit options on the bottom of the screen are present.
also there are no remotely nsfw/mature CGs added to in-game art gallery - I can only access the new nsfw CGs via the patch art folder, which makes me suspect things won't trigger in-game wrt storyline either.
EDIT: I even tried fully uninstalling x removing my steam purchase and buying the base game through itch.io - same issues x error messages. help appreciated if possible :')
hmm can you screenshot me where you placed the folder? Its seems like the file was not detected, mainly the title file itself thus making it unable to run, the nsfw art is not in the game gallery deliberaty but it is irrelevant to the issue as the error is due the game not finding where you put the patch folder.
Also did you make sure when unzipping, you did not create another folder by accident? So the folder PATCH is inside the game folder and there isnt an additional PATCH folder inside the PATCH folder?
Also Is the Art folder inside the PATCH folder as well?
oh my god it's actual amateur hour on my end lmao, there was in fact a duplicate PATCH folder inside the PATCH folder. everything's working beautifully now. thank you so so much for your help and the superquick response!
FYI, installing the patch unlocked all the cgs haha
yes I know all the cgs are actually unlocked if you update the game by default due to a code error that actually removes all cg progress that I never figured out how to fix, tldr was lazy n just opened it :’v

Does it overwrite other tamer CGs or are the new +18 events additions that don't remove prior content?

hi!! So I'm still figuring out how to properly to add it to the steam files.. and I think i did it wrong somehow bc IT doesn't seem to be showing up after pasting it into the bewitching folder...
did you make sure to paste it inside the game folder like the screenshot in the installation guide? Try screenshoting where you put the folder

Hi, do the new NSFW cgs also show up in the gallery section? Because I can't find them there. My starting screen does show that I've installed the Harlot DLC (BTW THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR HARD WORK!!!!)
Cgs for this are in the art folder, please read my installation guide doc and check the important section

So far loving this game! I was wondering if there will ever be DLC to include lesbian couplings and polyamory. No worries if not, but I would absolutely add DLC like that as well if so! Great work!

i am sorry Ros?? Do you mean scenes??? I am assuming scenes I think. Basically each character have an oral scene, a hand and the actual thing (for arshem and thane they skip the hand part) but basically its just easier to do a bottom mc since if I can reuse the male counterpart’s position from the girl or vice versa, less exhaustion there is also already an askew amount of cg between the girl n boy so if I had both a top n a bottom position for the boy I will get more prodded for that, which I am kinda getting tired of typing over and over haha tbh, tho I get the curiosity

new endings? Sorry, I am not sure I follow, the main story endings are the same this dlc just add more intimate events on the boys dates

the DLC is only on itch io but it is steam compatible, you just need to paste the PATCH folder into the game folder n it works fine in steam

you have MAC or windows?
i have windows, so i just copied the PATCH file from the DLC directly into the bewitching-sinner-visual-novel file. so bewitching-sinners-visual-novel -> BewitchingSinners-1.9.8-pc -> "game" -> copied the "PATCH" into that one, then i went out of the "game" folder and opened the BewitchingSinners from the 1.9.8-pc file, the program one, and it worked lol
