Hooo boooy, I'm nervous haha!
After 1.5 years from production to release, Bewitching Sinners is now released! It's been a wild journey for sure. I don't know how it will turn out for me financially, but I'm just glad it's finished and I hope your guys enjoy it. I also added a guide, since there are a lot of hidden secrets and quests you can miss through a chain reaction of quests!

AHHH I decided to check back on this and saw it finally released !! Instantly bought it of course <33 thank you for all your work and congrats on the release :D
got the news over vacation that the game released and was super excited to get back home and play!!! unfortunately not on steam yet but i don't mind waiting another week haha <333

Congrats! I LOVED the demo, and had been waiting for the release eagerly. Can't wait for the weekend, to immerse myself in it. (Responsible mode: off | VN goblin mode: on)

I can't turn in the "finding the culprit" quest until after the culprit confronts the MC. I looked in the guide and did all the things I needed to figure out the culprit, but I still can't turn the quest.
Hmm did you check Winston's desk and then submit the quest manually in the quest bar (click the turn in option?)
Was it an issue of the quest not turning up? You need to visit the library on day 3 or above, if you have the monarchy topic in your topics section then you need to check the desk after Keppler gives you the quest and never before
The quest turns up, but even after seeing the map, Winston's desk, and talking to him, the "turn it in" button in the quest menu is grayed out and can't be clicked.
Did you check the desk prior the quest was given? In your inventory, is there a culprit icon? Looking at the code, I think the only reason the culprit item is not in your inventory is if you have checked the desk before the quest was given and you had the "Vampire Monarchy" topic at that time.
another fix is to talk to Winston at the sparring field after you have checked his desk, and the option to report him shud pop out
If that doesn’t happen, would you mind if I contact you via discord or the sort to try and test out a fix?
I restarted the game and didn't look at the desk until after I got the quest, and that fixed it. Thanks!
Just scroll your mouse? Or are you using a laptop? Or you're using a laptop with a touchpad? If so you should be able to drag up and down the shop, just think it like the whole thing is a scroll bar

ok so idk if u saw my other comment but my download completely wont let me open up the game cos its saying it has a virus/unwanted software and ugh idk whats going on am i the only one w this issue guys 😭😭😭!?!?!
do you use windows? are you able to "run software anyway" when you get the message? i have gotten some type of message like that before, and if i press "read more"/"learn more" or something(sorry been a while so i don't quite remember the typing), it allows me the option to run anyway
hey ty for ur reply !!!!!!!!! i actually do get those sort of mssgs and when i do i press run and it works but this time when i did tht it gave me the virus message and js wudnt let me open the app up at all its so confusing
hmm i would rec to uninstall and then update and restart your pc, then try to download it again... tho im no genius, that usually works for me. also do you open the game by the files or directly from itch? mine works when i launch it from here

just press "launch"? hahaha idk like i said, im not really a genius when it comes to computers, however whenever i install a game on itch, it always just says "launch" here on the app for me hahah

You're not dumb! Tbh I'm not sure why itch io makes it harder for you to download the guide, as I asked and tested with other devices and they can, but If you still can't find it or anything please look here

I seem to be really struggling on how to romance Thane :-:
The details are in the guide but a step by step one... You need to finish the find the Culprit quest. This quest is given to you by Keppler in the library after day 3. Then you can go to the classroom across potions, check the desk with the red doodles. Then submit quest. You can also go confront Winston in the sparring field after reading his doodles, but not after you reported him.
After that is done, when later Thane loses it, he will ask you to bond with him. Don't cure him, or anything like that, just bond with him when he asks after Io's arc. To be honest that's it. If you've bonded with him, he will be your lover, and follow you to your world

Please wait, as my steam build is still in review queue! Once I have the go from steam that the build can be released there, then I will add external keys to the itch io purchase
